AC Synchronous Motors

Synchron features include encapsulated coils, indefinite stall and spring return capabilities. These advantages make Synchron Motors ideally suited for a broad range of speeds with light to moderate torque loads.

Stepper Motors / Step Motor

DC Permanent Magnet Motors

- Hansen Permanent Magnet DC Motors have unique performance advantages that make them the best choice for simple, high efficiency DC drives and servo motors. Hansen Permanent Magnet DC Motors provide nearly instantaneous torque and higher torque overall than wound field motors. With these torque characteristics and a linear speed torque curve, Hansen Permanent Magnet DC Motors are perfect for demanding use, especially in applications requiring high starting torque and low inertia loads. An added benefit of DC motors is easy reversibility by simply changing polarity.

Also now available through Hansen is the full line of NMB-MAT Permanent Magnet DC Motors produced in Asia as part of a joint venture with Hansen's parent company, Minebea. These small ultra precision motors have been a staple for audio and video equipment worldwide for years and are now available in America for your custom application.

Hansen's line of DC gear motors features a Permanent Magnet DC Motor mounted on Hansen's Synchron gear train. These motors are available in five mounting configurations and a wide range of gear ratios. This high-efficiency, low-cost DC motor design features permanently lubricated sintered bearings and long life brushes.
