About Hansen Motor Corporation
Hansen Corporation was founded in 1907 by Julius W. Hansen, a German immigrant who had moved to Princeton, Indiana in 1905. The founder was a jeweler and watch maker by trade. His first recognition came when he designed the first automatic bell ringing system at the request of a local high school principal. This innovated product launched Hansen Manufacturing Company, Inc.
Today, Hansen Motor, (Hansen Corporation), is an ElectroCraft company that specializes in synchron motor and DC motor production as part of the ElectroCraft family of motion control products that provide dependable, application-engineered fractional-horsepower motors and motion control products.
ElectroCraft motion control solutions are found in thousands of different applications within industrial, commercial, and consumer product markets. While ElectroCraft provides a wide array of standard products with many configurable options, we have built our brand on custom OEM solutions that meet the precise performance, cost and quality our customers require. Hansen products from ElectroCraft are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
For OEM customers who are unsatisfied with having to design around inflexible off-the-shelf products, our technical knowledge and customizable product families provide for a design experience which results in motor and motion systems that provide superior reliability and performance at the lowest possible cost.
Electric Motor Testing
At Hansen Corporation, we manufacture more than 5 million synchronous motors each year. We have to demand Total Quality.
Our checks and balances include: statistical process control (SPC) in our fabrication departments, process control audits throughout production stages, and 100 percent electric motor testing. We don't just sample each batch of motors; we test every one of your electric motors before shipping. We also fabricate the majority of the parts needed to build your motors in order to reduce the variables in quality that come with the use of outside vendors.
Total Quality officially recognized under the Quality Management Institutes (QMI) registration program for the ISO-9001 series of quality standards.
Total Quality always recognized by you, because you don't have to think about your Hansen electric motors...once they're installed.
Our Synchron One-Year Warranty
We will repair or replace without charge any Synchron motor which is used for an application approved by our Engineering Department which proves to be defective in materials and workmanship within 1 year from date of manufacture stamped on the motor.
100 years of Quality Workmanship
